Events in the Wasteland
One weekend. Five ways to experience the end of the world.
Cosplay Showcase
April 24th, 3PM at the Riverview Amphitheater
Wastelanders are encouraged to arrive in full character, from atomic scavengers and ghoulish raiders to power-armored legends forged from steel. Guests can step into the spotlight during the cosplay showcase, where creativity, rust, and skill take the center stage.
First place winner will be featured on the cover of the 2028 printed Point Pleasant tourism magazine. That's right. Your face on a magazine cover. Not bad for surviving the apocalypse.
Learn More →Junktown
April 24th, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Grab your caps and sharpen your bartering skills. Junktown is open for all in the wastelands. This barter and trade-only market will open for a few hours to all guests for trading, bartering, and banter.
Bring your wits, bring your caps, and bring your weird junk. No actual sales for US legal tender are permitted at this event. This is the real deal. Pure wasteland economics. If you can't trade it, you don't need it.
Learn More →Wasteland Car Show
All Weekend
The wasteland car show celebrates vehicles rebuilt with grit, creativity, and heart. From patched-together road beasts to polished relics of the old world, every dent tells a story and every ride looks ready to cruise the cracked highways of the future.
These aren't your granddaddy's Sunday drivers. These are machines that survived the end of the world and came out looking meaner. If your ride can handle the wasteland, bring it on down.
Learn More →Wasteland Market
All Weekend
The wasteland may be barren, but the market isn't. Post apocalyptic themed vendor booths offer handmade gear, rugged apparel, art, and curiosities built to survive the end of the days.
Each booth feels scavenged straight from the wastes, turning shopping into an adventure for even the most unprepared vault dwellers. Find what you need to survive in style. Or just find something weird to put on your shelf.
Learn More →Faction Camps
All Weekend
Organized wasteland crews are invited to host immersive faction camps focused on recruitment, outreach, and community engagement. Camps will be featured front and center, providing members a place to gather and engage with the festival throughout the weekend.
Got a crew? Got a cause? Got a camp? This is your chance to show the wasteland what you're made of. Set up shop and let the survivors know where you stand.
